Hi there Pack Leaders,
 
Happy New Year to you all - let's hope that 2012 is a good year for all the RAT Packs.
 
You will recall that I sent out invitations to around 30 RAT Packs and Dealerships back on 30th November last year, asking Pack Leaders whether their Packs would be interested to participate in a Big Triumph Ride In to the National Motorcycle Museum on Sunday 19th August 2012. We are hoping that 300 - 400 hundred Triumphs will meet on the day.

Replies are starting to come back from Pack Leaders - so far there have been 9 confirmed replies. So far, the following Packs are likely to be represented:

Wolves RATs, Pure Triumph Wellingborough, Destination Triumph Fareham, Destination Triumph Washington, Jack Lilley Motorcycles, Northern RATs, Performance Triumph Stratford, Bevans Triumph Cardiff and a party of Triumph riders from Holland.

Since that earlier e-mail, I have established a RV Point in Meriden where we can all meet up and then ride the 4 miles along the A45 to the Museum as a big procession. I have agreed the date with the National Motorcycle museum, who have agreed to reserve 400 bike parking spaces for our use on the day and they have agreed a concessionary entry fee of £6.95 per person (which is £2 less than the standard admission rate). I have also advertised the event on the Triumph website, on their "Events" page.

I know that you will appreciate how difficult it is to organise things when people don't reply until the last minute, so I would appreciate your early e-mailed response to this reminder - there is no commitment, but the reply at least lets me know that you have received the invitation and helps me to gauge the possible level of interest.
